Background / Biographies

Helmut Oehring,

autodidact composer, was a master student of Georg Katzer at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin from 1990-1992. He had a grant at the Villa Massimo in Rome and received numerous prizes. His repertoire, approximately 160 works, includes works from various genres. Recently he has also directed his own works.

Claus Guth

studied German literature, philosophy, theatre science and directing. In addition to directing classical repertoires, contemporary music theatre has become one of his priorities. He has been responsible for numerous world premieres.
