Description

“Die Auferstehung der Taten” [The Resurrection of the Deeds] is a playback opera. [...] A misanthropic bus driver, a cleric singer, a choir, two perpetrators, Nietzsche and a mangled announcer’s voice attack and reflect [...] a society locked in lethargy. Given rhythm through a sample orgy of sounds and music fragments, wise moments and platitudes switch back and forth [...]. This work was composed, recorded and premiered by students in six days and nights. “

Background / Biographies

Felix Kubin

is an artist and musician. He has been composing experimental and futurist pop and electro-acoustic music since 1993. He is the author of radio plays and head of the record label “Gagarin Records”. He has also written music for theatre productions and films and has participated in over 70 international music and media art festivals.
