Background / Biographies

Christine Dormoy

is director and founder of the Compagnie Le Grain.She also works with orchestras, opera teams and groups of independet soloists to create new forms of her own concept of text and music. She has received numerous awards for her work and Compagnie Le Grain was advanced to a “State Company for Opera and Music Theatre” by the French cultural ministry.

Arnaud Petit

studied at the conservatories in Reims and Paris, among others. He received a grant for the Villa Medici and was a MacDowell Fellow. He works and teaches in Paris at l’Ircam, at Stanford University in California and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
